The flow cytometry facility now has acquired a state of the art cell sorter, the FACS Aria.

This instrument is capable of 9 color acquisition, analysis and 4 way sorting.

The generated FCS data can be exported in FCS 2.0 or FCS 3.0 formats.

Simultaneous laser excitation sources are 488nm, 633nm and 407nm.

Addional options are:

"Aersol Management- AMO" helps contain aerosols by evacuating the sort collection

chamber during sorting.

"Temperature-control Option" used to control the temperature of sorted samples using a

recirculating water bath and metal collection tube holders.

"Automated Cell Deposition Unit- ACDU" provides hardware that allows you to sort into

multiwell plates and onto slides.

We have spent the past year refining it's capabilities and are looking for individuals

interested in testing its full potential.
